Directing in animation today i...Welcome back, Mark. <BR/>Directing in animation today is not what it was since the producer is the actual director. The director is just a production manager, making sure that artists do what the producer/director wants.<BR/>There are always exceptions. Pixar and Disney come to mind, but they are in the minority. I'm hoping that some of the new studios like Laika give a certain amount of freedom to their directors but only time will tell.
