I wonder if this film, because of all the many and varied locations and the relatively quick cutting, required more than the usual number of backgrounds. I suspect there wasn't much reuse. As is evidenced by this sequence, every background is a gem. The Art Direction doesn't get the same attention as did Sleeping Beauty, but it was every bit as influential.
