The Mickey Mouse daily comic strip, done for 46 years by artist Floyd Gottfredson, will be reprinted in its entirety by Fantagraphics Books starting in May 2011.

Mickey Mouse is as 'old as the hills', and we still appreciate his cartoon shorts today!
are they allowed to reprint cartoons that display attempted suicide? "Hey everybody, if life's got you down, just shoot yourself in the face with a rifle." You know, for kids
He doesn't of course. And the message Mickey learns after a week of suicide attempts is that it's a stupid thing to do. ("It took a bunch of squirrels to show me how nutty I was!")
