It really does need something, they could've made that the whole class exercise alone if they gave students a shot at drawing out their character to time to the piece.
I believe the applicable old adage for this video is "All hat and no cattle". Followed by that equally old adage, "I'm from Missouri..." etc.
Not particularly funny or witty, and if this is the extent of their storytelling prowess, they'd be better off going back to school.
Another applicable adage is "show, don't tell"...
The very model of an Animation Graduate is all talk, no action. At least the film clearly puts the message across. :)
