Floyd Norman: An Animated Life Screening in Toronto
Floyd Norman, animator and story artist, was one of the first African-Americans to work at Disney and in the animation industry. A documentary on his life is showing at the Hot Docs cinema on Bloor Street on Sunday, February 19 at 11 a.m. It's a one-time screening.
I've worked as an animator, writer, producer and director in TV animation for 29 years. I created the cgi series Monster By Mistake.
I hold a Masters degree from York University in Cinema and Media Studies.

Ah, the days of long term animation work where you would be able to retire comfortable at 65. Truly a golden age.
