Unique Distribution Idea

Here's a unique way to get your movie out to the public: sell distribution rights to a newspaper and have them insert DVDs of your film into the Sunday paper. You get paid for the local distribution rights, the paper sees a circulation bump because readers get a free movie with the cost of the newspaper, and your film gets seen by lots of people and generates word of mouth.

Mark,

I know that this is an unusual way to get a hold of you, but I was needing to get information about ordering a book you authored. My name is Claudia and I am in charge of school orders for a bookstore in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I had a teacher contact me to order 50 copies of Monster by Mistake. I understand Stewart House Distribution has folded, but I can't seem to find information for another distributor (I see this book is also published by Winding Stair, but I can't locate a phone number for them).
Do you have any advice for me as to how to order this book?
(Sorry for contacting you via this post, but I couldn't find an email address for you).
Thanks,
Claudia

Hi Claudia. You might try contacting dealers at www.half.com. Here's a link to people selling the book for 75 cents. http://product.half.ebay.com/Monster-by-Mistake_W0QQprZ2330960QQtgZinfo

Everything about Monster By Mistake seemed to be cursed, including the publishing. Stewart House and Winding Stair were divisions of the same company and it's gone. The books were remaindered and I occasionally see copies in bargain stores.
