I have to admit you really encapsule a scene with the choices you're making in representing those scenes. These "mosaics" are worth saving, and the commentary that follows is even more valuable. I can never say it enough, "nice job, Mark!"
I've worked as an animator, writer, producer and director in TV animation for 29 years. I created the cgi series Monster By Mistake.
I hold a Masters degree from York University in Cinema and Media Studies.

At the very least, I try and find a good pose. I'm always impressed with the rhythms and lines of action in Disney poses.
And yes, I do try and find a frame that tells the story. It's the director in me, I guess.
I really appreciate what you're doing with these Pinocchio mosaics. Thanks for the valuable information! Keep up the good work and good luck.
